1 YEAR AGO GOVERNOR WALZ SHUTDOWN MINNESOTA A SECOND TIME, CANCELED YOUTH SPORTS, MASKED THE KIDS, AND BANKRUPTED HUNDREDS OF SMALL BUSINESSES OVER A LIE. Recent email leaks, combined with previous email discoveries from the Let Them Play lawsuit against Walz and MN Dept of Health (MDH), show King Walz and his administration WERE GUESSING, LYING, AND DEMANDING MDH CREATE DATA INTERPRETATIONS OR DEPT STATEMENTS TO FIT THE SHUTDOWN DECISIONS HE HAD ALREADY MADE.
WHY? Why was Walz seeking to point the finger at school sports, small business dining and restaurants, and family gatherings as the vectors spreading COVID? Because in November 2020 Minnesota still had a near 70% total average of deaths occurring in nursing homes/long term care (LTC) directly under his direct supervision. King Walz refused to use the convalescent facility purchased for COVID infected seniors still recovering after hospital treatment, and had ordered recovering COVID infected seniors BACK INTO NURSING HOMES. To deflect from the terrible COVID results coming from his neglect in LTC King Walz fingered the unproven spread vectors of children, small business, and family gatherings as the activity shutdowns necessary to protect seniors in LTC and to preserve vital COVID hospital bed capacity. If Governor Elder Killer really wanted to preserve the precious few ICU beds for the COVID sick and to protect LTC workers and seniors from contact with COVID, WHY DID HE COORDINATE WITH FAIRVIEW TO CLOSE THE 90 COVID BED BETHESDA HOSPITAL TO START THE 2ND LOCKDOWN? AND THEN ARRANGE TO SEND THE COVID INFECTED RECOVERING BACK INTO NURSING HOMES INSTEAD?
FACT – King Walz screwed the kids, canceled the holidays, and is still suing and trying to bankrupt small businesses over shutdown violations to this day, for a lie. A series of lies.
- There was evidence youth sports games and spectators were COVID vectors infecting LTC ppl and staff – LIE
- There was evidence indoor small business services were COVID vectors infecting LTC ppl and staff – LIE
- He canceled Christmas and did a shutdown again to preserve precious COVID hospital beds (while closing a COVID hospital) – LIE
- He actually gave a sh#t about seniors or staff in LTC getting COVID infected. Really? He sent infected back into nursing homes (LTC) instead of a COVID hospital ON PURPOSE – LIE
- To bring us up to date – Since the CDC has no credible US studies justifying masks on school children, MDH has no studies or data of it’s own for justification to mask the kids, and the fact that Governor Walz is intentionally misleading on child COVID data and ignoring a more deadly murder wave of children in Mpls, does anybody really believe his sincerity over masking kids is anything but a deflection and lie? I don’t.
Governor Walz was under political pressure to look like he was doing something, anything, and he wanted to keep control as long as possible. He was scared to death his first 8 months of complete elder neglect and nation leading nursing home (LTC) death rate would get him tagged with Governors Cuomo, Murphy, and Wolf as one of the premier elder killers in America. It appears he decided to keep power and divert from this eldercare disaster by blaming kids, family gatherings, and small business, to shutdown the state a second time. After 18 months of unnecessary, expensive, and very damaging COVID management King Walz can only get reelected if he can pitch the narrative that he “saved us”, so fully expect the lies and denials to keep on coming like bad movie sequels.
THE WALZ ADMINISTRATION AND MDH EMAILS
The email discoveries from Dawn Gillman and Let Them Play’s lawsuit against Walz discovered this beauty – Walz was wanting to cover his butt after declaring a second shutdown, and without knowing the data wanted to blame LTC deaths and staff transmission on sports and small business bar and restaurants. (None of the ppl copied or talked about in the email work on health data, they are all political advisors and administrators.)
In the final days leading up to the shutdown of school sports and small business the MDH team working on manufacturing data reasons to do it tell the truth – Its politics, so lets wait until the “GO” Governor’s Office tells us what to do.
The email string that kicked off trying to get MDH data to justify a second lockdown of school sports, small business, AND FAMILY HOLIDAY GATHERINGS in the first place is a doozy. Walz’s Chief of Staff (COS) wants to help Walz blame family gatherings, small business, and weddings, etc for COVID spread so Walz can shut them down. After COS reviewing requested data from MDH he realizes, “I assume the conclusion here is we just don’t know where most transmission is happening?” He tells Jan Malcolm at MDH what he is looking for, so Jan exhorts her staff to “estimate total impact from generations of transmission” and thanks them for “creative thinking and fast turn around” as she sends them off to just guess and find a way for Walz to blame youth sports, family gatherings, and small business for transmission.

THE DAMAGE OF THE LIES ISNT OVER – Sadly, the damage from these lies lives on today. There are small business owners still being sued over violations during the dishonest 2nd shutdown a year ago. One of these is Stacy and her 12 seat coffee shop, The Iron Waffle. King Walz and Jan Malcolm are still suing Stacy, and in her most recent remediation hearing the Walz govt asked for a $100,000 fine and 3 years more shutdown of her business as punishment.
