Joe Biden is repeating lies that shouldn’t go unanswered.
Coronavirus
Biden says President Trump has caused 210,000 Americans to die of the virus. It is a fact that the president acknowledged that the governors had the power and responsibility to determine how their states would confront the virus. Biden himself initially opposed the Trump travel ban that shut down foreign travelers from bringing the virus into our country.
Original estimates of the number of coronavirus deaths in America – based upon the now infamous models – showed 2,200,000 of our fellows countrymen would die. Given that could we not say that the president actually saved two million people? The experts had all of us confused and scared with their statements. The famous Dr. Fauci first said the virus was low risk, that masks weren’t necessary, and that the president was doing a good job.
Biden accuses the president of not wearing a mask. Yet video and photos exist showing the following people not wearing masks: Pelosi, Cuomo, Feinstein, and Biden himself.
Let’s look at how Obama and Biden did with death counts. During their reign from 2009 through 2016, over 200,000 Americans died from opioid overdoses. From 2011 through 2016, 36,000 Americans died from fentanyl overdoses. Most fentanyl coming into the U.S. is from Chinese pharmaceutical companies. China: the same country that Obama-Biden did nothing to stop. The same country where Biden and his profited.
Economy
Biden claims the Trump economy has performed worse than the Obama-Biden one did. Here are some facts:
1.) Personal income is up. Household income grew 45 percent more in 2019 than it did in all eight Obama-Biden years.
2.) Biden and the Democrats carry on about income inequality, but poverty is at a 60 year low. Under Obama-Biden, the number of people living in poverty increased by 787,000. Poverty among minority groups and children has decreased under the Trump administration.
3.) The pandemic hit our economy hard, especially in the second quarter of this year. In spite of that, to date half the jobs lost have come back. This is six months later.
Transition of Power
Biden and many other leading Dems continue the mantra that Trump will not peacefully transition out of office. A person could choke on the irony of this statement. These are the same people who have attempted a soft coup of this president’s administration since before he was elected. Remember Russia collusion? Impeachment? The president should reiterate his agreement to a peaceful transition – in 2024 after the end of his second term.
What do the Democrats think they could or would do in a Biden-Harris administration? They can’t control crime or homelessness in their own cities. They would pack the Supreme Court, remove the senate filibuster, enact single-payer healthcare, implement cap-and-trade, and sign the Paris climate accord, just to name a few items.
Finally, the Gallup poll from September 14-28 says it all. Fifty-six percent say they are better off now than they were four years ago. Amen.
