WALZ BUILDS A GREEN NEW DEAL CHURCH ON THE BACKS OF ROCKS AND COWS

IT’S NOT POLITICS, IT’S A RELIGION

The religion of The Green New Deal has consumed the DFL and they are now the Minneapolis DFL and Governor Walz is their new cult leader. The progressives of The Green New Deal have been evangelizing, but that was not enough. The Church of Climate Change and Racial Equity has decided forceful conversions and mandatory payments of penance to fund their religious sacrfices are in order. The Rocks and Cows will be making the payments and their jobs and industries will be the sacrifice.

Governor Walz is enacting the tenets of the Green New Deal faith thru administrative and regulatory action without a single vote of the legislature. Previous Republican legislatures led by Senator David Senjem (Rochester) and Rep. Kurt Daudt (Crown) sleep walked right into this nightmare selling out the Rocks and Cows by assisting the Democrats to install ever increasing mandates and climate regulations for more and more green energy without ever doing a single cost benefit analysis and always passing the new higher costs onto taxpayers and utility rate payers. With “friends” like that who needs enemies? Even that slow walk complicity of the MNGOP legislators wasn’t enough this year and now Walz and the Mpls DFL cult are just installing everything full bore without the legislature using administrative action by the MPCA, MNDOT, PUC, DNR, and thru the courts whenever they find a roadblock in the law.

IF GREEN ENERGY “PAYS FOR ITSELF” WHY DOES XCEL ENERGY WANT A 20% ELECTRIC BILL HIKE?

Xcel Energy IS GOING TO GIVE AWAY $150 MILLION IN ELECTRIC CAR REBATES TO RICH MPLS METRO CUSTOMERS AND YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR IT ON YOUR ELECTRIC BILL if Governor Walz’s handpicked PUC approves the 20% rate hike. Part of the rate hike is for the cost of Xcel’s largest new solar farm in Becker. We are closing down the power plant in Becker WE ALREADY PAID FOR so WE can pay again for a solar farm to replace it. Remember those windfarms that pay for themselves? Well, not so much. Xcel also wants to replace worn out windmill motors AND CHARGE YOU FOR THAT TOO. Minnesota Power also has thrown in the towel. With a Biden victory, a Walz carbon free energy mandate being unilaterally implemented, and non-existent MNGOP opposition, they have decided to close Boswell in the near future and start planning for a carbon free future. Mining has an uphill battle with environmental regulators, but none of that will matter if the cost of electricity at the mines is doubled in 15 years to remove all profitability. Business has already registered their complaints with these energy hikes. Sellouts to the Green New Deal cult at the Chamber of Commerce have consistently lobbied to raise Rocks and Cows electricity bills and gas taxes to meet Mpls DFL cult demands, but are threatening to fight rate hikes ON THEMSELVES because they will be asked to pay even more than the residential rate payers. Imagine their surprise that they are being asked to pay for their “green” virtue signaling. The world’s smallest violin is tuning up ready to slowly hum the sorrow I feel for them. Other Rocks and Cows businesses like gypsum board, paper, mining, and lumber that use oodles of electricity to make products are fearing the worst.

ELECTRIC CARS ARE SO GREAT THAT WALZ AND THE MPLS DFL CULT ARE GOING TO MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO SELL OR BUY ANYTHING ELSE.

Dictator Walz’s MPCA (Minnesota Pollution Control Agency) has decided along with His Highness that the California electric car mandates are so great that we need them here. So great they are just going to pass a rule forcing what cars dealers can sell and limit what cars you can buy and license to drive in Minnesota, costing ALL car buyers $1000 to $2500 more per car electric or not. The legislature doesn’t get to vote on the plan, and that seems to be fine with them since they haven’t done anything but whine and pout since the announcement. Like restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, the Minnesota car dealers know the Republicans aren’t going to do anything but make Facebook posts, so they have decided to sue the state themselves. Electric cars cost thousands more than gas vehicles and have far less range and refueling options. That will not be a problem because the Republican Senate spent your tax money in the bonding bill for MNDOT and the Met Council to build electric charging stations for the rich Mpls DFL people to use after your tax money and utility company payments help subsidize their electric car purchase. Rocks and Cows foot the bill for the “green” energy, for the electric car subsidies, and then the charging stations for the cars, AND ROCKS AND COWS GAS TAX MONEY PAYS FOR THE ROADS THEY DRIVE ON. If the MNGOP Senate had any amount of self respect left they would have fired MPCA Commissioner Laura Bishop already.

WE WERE TOLD USING “GREEN ENERGY” WOULD BE THE SOLUTION TO A CLEANER FUTURE. YOU ACTUALLY FELL FOR THAT?

The God of progressive government and climate submission isn’t satisfied with only how the electricity one uses is made. The choir is just warming up Rocks and Cows suckers. GET READY TO BEND OVER AND CALCULATE YOUR CARBON TAX. That’s right The Church of The Green New Deal is passing the plate, and everybody that uses energy or participates in a natural resource of agriculture industry is going to be forced to measure their “climate impact” and “carbon equivalents” produced going forward. Going forward business permit application information on “climate complaince” will be used by the bureaucrats to decide based on your impact (or what they ate for breakfast) if you get to expand, build, or stay in business, and sooner rather than later businesses will be asked to throw their wallet in the offering plate. The government only measures things they want to tax or regulate. They government doesn’t like your line of work? No permit. They graciously allow you to do business? WHILE THE ROCKS AND COWS SLEPT THE POLITICIANS FROM BOTH PARTIES SOLD OUT GREATER MINNESOTA.

These are just 3 of the most egregious attacks on agriculture, ag processing, manufacturing, and natural resource industries in Greater Minnesota. These type of actions are not new, just more bold. The favorite non-profit Green New Deal partner of the Mpls DFL cult, MCEA (Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy), for years has been suing every industry everywhere across Rocks and Cows country. Mining, dairies, sand pits, pipelines, refineries, ethanol producers, feedlots, row crop drainage, paper plants, gypsum board, logging, atv and snomobile usage, and metal recyclers have all been sued by MCEA. Shortly after a lawsuit initiation the MPCA or DNR “loses” on purpose in court and implements the Green New Deal lawsuit desires into official regulation. In the newest cases the Walz administration is not even feigning the pretense of lawsuits to install the Green New Deal. No more pretending or gradual incremental regulation. Since the Republican legislative leadership is in on the cheat Walz is just going to install it all with a signature and a few “for show” comment periods. Republican politicians will knash some teeth and whine about irregular process on Facebook but they will not fire commissioners, defund any of the agencies, or stand firm on corrective legislation in either the regular session or bonding session. They will not stop any of this. NEWEST ATTACKS ON THE ROCKS AND COWS WILL BE FINALIZED REGULATIONS BY APRIL, and done at least a good month or more before the fake omnibus battles where the MNGOP and Mpls DFL cult pretend to stalemate before Gazelka sells us out “to keep government open and help the people”. After they sell out the Rocks and Cows they will have the nerve to beg for our vote to “give them the power to fix it”. There will be no rewarding sellouts and quitters with money or votes next time by Rocks and Cows. Unless we start replacing politicians expect Greater Minnesota’s industry and blue collar job markets will soon resemble California’s, without the beach.

In a very ironic twist for the Rocks and Cows the two senators that left the DFL to become independents, Tom Bakk and David Tomasonni, did so because they see the most clearly the DFL finally made the full conversion to Mpls DFL Green New Deal cult. Unlike Representatives Sandstede, Lislegard, and Ecklund, they could no longer lie to their constituents and ignore a combined Mpls DFL cult attack to intentionally kill the natural resource and manufacturing jobs in their districts. They have consistently been some of the loudest voices against these regulatory attacks on the Rocks and Cows and have both signaled MPCA Commissioner Laura Bishop is on their shortlist of commissioners to be unemployed soon. Since there is a clear majority of Senators, all from Greater MN that claim to be upset with these pending rules, Rocks and Cows can only assume that once again the majority leadership of Senators Gazelka, Housley, and Miller refuse to move their caucus to bold action.
