DICTATOR FOREVER! King Walz renewed his dictator powers for the 16TH MONTH on June 14. The legislature is in a special session as this time hashing out a 7.5% budget raise that funds every stupid CRT in schools and Green New Deal policy Walz implemented this year, and guarantees the state budget will double in size in under 10 years. At the end of it all King Walz will still have unlimited dictator powers AND HE WILL STILL BE SUING AND BANKRUPTING BUSINESSES ACROSS THE STATE for having the nerve to open and sell beer or coffee or waffles during the winter shutdown LAST YEAR.
The Iron Waffle, a 12 seat coffee shop in Lakeshore (right down the street from Senate Leader Paul Gazelka’s own house) is just one of the many businesses that were hassled a year ago by Walz’s Greater MN Mask Taskforce. Yes, Walz decided diverting hundreds of state health employees and investigators to punish 12 seat diners and shotgun bars in small towns was far more important than helping seniors in nursing homes or quelling riots. The Iron Waffle was also one of the restaurants accused of being open for a couple days during the winter shutdown LAST YEAR. COVID is almost gone and King Walz has lifted all restrictions, so it must be over and in true “One Minnesota” spirit he will certainly waive the fines and penalties and stop suing to show his royal compassion? ARE YOU F#CKING HIGH, he’s going to continue suing the crap out of them until the Iron Waffle and others are bankrupt to make sure people fear his omnipotence just like Senate Leader Paul Gazelka does.
The Iron Waffle shares the legal services of the only law firm to have gained a victory fighting back against Walz for the punished businesses. Dictator Walz lost in court and does not have the power to revoke liquor licenses over dictator defiance, and has stopped attacking liquor licenses statewide while appealing this loss. Iron Waffle, in addition to fighting the entire premise of dictator powers and emergency orders, will be suing to add food license revocations to the list of things Dictator Walz cannot just yank for dictator defiance.
THE WORST PART IS THE LEGISLATURE WILL SURRENDER AND GIVE WALZ AND JAN MALCOLM A SUPERCHARGED $4 BILLION BONUS 2 YEAR BUDGET AND PAY THEM TO TRY AND SUE THE IRON WAFFLE AND OUR FRIENDS ACROSS ROCKS AND COWS TERRITORY INTO BANKRUPTCY.
Like too many weak Republican state parties, the people are forced to beat liberty sucking dictators on their own. It’s The People vs Walz, and The Iron Waffle needs OUR HELP to continue the fight. Like the liquor license victory, a food license victory would help everybody in a fight with Walz whether they are in the court room or not, and keep all businesses free from dictator shutdown threats.
