On October 25th I put out the California restrictions and warned that Walz would follow their lead and impose them here in Minnesota. Well, here it is..,

Private gatherings

The new restrictions also target private gatherings. Beginning Friday, there will be a 10-person limit for indoor and outdoor gatherings and all social gatherings will be limited to three households or less, including the host.

Bars and restaurants

Under the new restrictions, bars and restaurants will be required to end dine-in service at 10 p.m., although takeout and delivery service will still be allowed after that time. Indoor capacity will be capped at 150 people and may not exceed 50% capacity.

No bar seating or service will be allowed. Bars and restaurants that only have counter service can still have patrons line up with masks and then return to their tables.

No bar games that require standing such as darts and pool will be permitted.

Outbreaks in bars and restaurants spiked in October, according to data provided by the state Department of Health showing 57 such outbreaks in October after just 18 the previous month.

Weddings and funerals

Weddings and funerals will be limited to 50 people starting Nov. 27. That limit will eventually be dropped to 25 people on Dec. 11.

Receptions and similar events will not be allowed to take place between 10 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  1. This has got to stop. They do not rule over us, and we cannot allow it.

  2. what the Dear And Glorious State is not saying, as far as little ol me can see, is: WHERE WERE these 57 outbreaks? were they all in the Metro area[s]?
If so, why on earth should we healthy peasants be forced to live by city standards?
    ……waiting……………………….
